    uniting a growing network of the best UK creatives, practitioners, and educators throughout the supply chain. We support and promote the preservation of heritage trade skills across the leather and textile related industry sectors, providing a centralised resource.

    Our core team and founder are specialists in their chosen fields with commercial careers in high level design, product development, bespoke making, and manufacturing products from the luxury markets.

    We encourage new entries of all ages with a range of courses, and training programmes for graduates and young makers, with ‘grass root’ programmes for children. 


  • TRAIN UPSKILL SUPPORT

    Building on our provenance and established in-house studio services, we are launching our new initiative ‘CRAFT THE FUTURE’ to provide a comprehensive training facility and support network. We are creating an environment where the skills and knowledge of highly skilled craftspeople can be passed down, inspiring the next generation of ‘Makers’. 

    The dual aspect of the CCMs' commercial and educational activity form a unique and dynamic combination for potential through cross -pollination, leading to fresh opportunities and new career pathways.

  • The concept of sustainability is intrinsically linked to conservation and restoration, they are the central pillars. By extending the lifetime of existing products and materials by repairing and restoring, instead of discarding, we reduce the demand for new resources and minimise the environmental impact. We have lived through an era of throw-away culture, from which the results have been catastrophic. Savouring things is good for our soul - 'Make Well - Buy Once - Love & Restore'.

    At the CCM, we use a wide spectrum of techniques, and treatments, combined with the extensive knowledge required to dissemble and assemble the product at hand. Whether an everyday bag needs a simple repair, or protecting a sentimentally valuable heirloom or investment piece, the item can be restored to its former glory, and enjoyed for years to come.

  • We work with designers who have a specific recycling concept they need realised, and individuals with a business idea and a quirk for the unusual. Imagination is key to a successful project along with the practical skills to experiment. 

    We cover a wide spectrum of applications across a variety of products from very different settings. It can involve simply changing the aesthetics by surface decoration, or combining and merging items to create a reimagined piece with reinvented functionality. We use recycled dead stock materials in our product ranges, that would otherwise be considered as waste.
